Achieving mastery in goalkeeping is becoming increasingly elusive in the modern era, largely due to prevailing perceptions within the goalkeeping community and the rigid beliefs that accompany them. In this editorial, I address concerns about the future of goalkeeping as an art, share my perspectives, and suggest solutions to steer its evolution in the right direction.
